Trail Mix Energy Bites

Trail mix energy bites made with nuts, seeds, chocolate, almond butter and dates

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy unsweetened almond butter
  • 7 large pitted medjool dates

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until a thick sticky dough forms.
  • Form balls of any desired size out of the mixture. I make 20 medium-sized bites. Store in a sealable container or bag in the refrigerator or freezer.

Notes

You can replace everything except for the dates and almond butter with 3 cups store-bought trail mix.
