30-Minute Sausage and Peppers

The quickest and easiest dinner that you'll likely put on repeat every week, this sausage and peppers recipe will make you swoon!

Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz package pre-cooked Italian Sausage
  • 1 small red onion sliced
  • 3 bell peppers colors of choice, cut into match sticks
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Chop all of the ingredients and transfer them to a large baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle with dried parsley, oregano and sea salt. Use your hands to toss everything together until everything is well-coated in oil and seasoning. Spread the ingredients evenly over the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until peppers reach desired level of doneness and sausage has a nice crisp on it.
  • Note: For crispy sausage, place the baking sheet on the shelf that’s second to the bottom - this will ensure the bottoms of the sausage and peppers get a nice golden-brown crisp.
