30-Minute Beef Stir Fry Recipe

Quick and easy beef stir recipe with homemade stir fry sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 batch Easy Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 lb beef sirloin cut into 2-inch strips
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil or avocado oil
  • 2 large carrots chopped
  • 1 large crown broccoli chopped into florets
  • 1 yellow squash chopped
  • 1 zucchini squash chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper cored and cut into match sticks
  • 1/2 red onion sliced

Instructions

  • Prepare the Easy Stir Fry Sauce according to the recipe instructions.
  • Heat the avocado oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer (if possible) and stir beef until browned, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Move the beef to the side of the wok and add the vegetables. Cook and stir vegetables for 2 minutes before stirring the beef into the vegetables to incorporate.
  • Pour ¼ to ⅓ cup of the stir fry sauce into the wok with the beef and vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened and created a sticky coat over everything, about 3 minutes. Taste stir fry and if desired, add more sauce.
  • Serve stir fry as is in bowls or with choice of steamed rice, quinoa, or vegetable noodles.
