Transfer the blocks of feta to a baking dish. Drizzle with avocado oil, and sprinkle with dried herbs and black pepper.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes.

Stir the feta cheese so that it is nice and creamy.

Transfer to a serving dish, then add the fig preserves and pecans. Bake at 350 for another 15 minutes.

Serve warm cheese dip with toasted baguette and/or crackers.
