This time of year, with vacations, kids out of school, back-to-back plans, and the need for continuous convenience, healthy eating habits can easily fall by the wayside.
For me, the best way of ensuring I get the nutrition I need in the midst of all the running around, is to maintain a stock of solid resources in my pantry and a plethora of fresh produce in my refrigerator – that way, I can whip something up on-the-go and stay fueled in an efficient, high-impact way.
I saw a quote the other day that resonated with me – โSelf-care isnโt selfish. You canโt serve on an empty tank.โ
One of the issues we have as independent, hard-working individuals is taking the time to nurture and uplift ourselves before trying to do so for others.
We feel like we arenโt being good people when weโre giving to ourselves, when in reality, we become more a more valuable resource when weโre operating at full capacity.
One crucial way of showing ourselves we care is by feeding our bodies!
I love that Bobโs Red Mill strongly advocates nutrition and brings it to your home with effortless convenience. Theyโre here to help fill your energy tank in the most positive ways.
I find supplementing my smoothies with high-quality protein powder ensures it is a well-balanced experience, versus all just carbs. I used Bobโs Red Millโs Vanilla Protein Powder Nutritional Booster to add a nutrition boost (and delicious vanilla flavor) to this smoothie.
You can use your favorite protein powder or add in some collagen peptides. Hemp protein is always one of my favorites.
In an era with so many opinions about health flying around helter-skelter, I think itโs important to keep a hard stance and be an advocate for your own health. Only you know whatโs right for you!
This immunity-boosting smoothie is packed with nutrients to support a healthy immune system and keep you strong during your day-to-day busy life.

I love smoothies for breakfast!
I love to start with oatmeal or a smoothie in the morning.
I go back and forth between eggs & avocado toast and smoothies! It depends on home much time I have!
My favorite way to re-fuel after a long weekend or especially a workout is a green smoothie! I love to pack the blender with vanilla protein, kale, broccoli, and whatever fruit and superfood powders I have around the house.
I drink/make smoothies all the time but have never had a smoothie bowl, they look tasty and more like ‘eating’ than just drinking a smoothie! I like this one sans macadamia nuts….anything else I can use with the same nutritional value? I also use unflavored Pea Protein, I feel like the flavored ones I have looked at have sweetener in them that I don’t want…I dislike the Stevia and don’t do sugar!! :oD
I am going to try this right now as an afternoon boost!! Thanks.
I “fuel up” in the mornings by sitting with my husband and having coffee together…just enjoying each other and the new day (before we get going in our days).
This smoothie looks delicious, I can’t wait to try it! And I didn’t know about Bob’s protein powder; I’ll definitely be looking into that!!
Every morning is different! Smoothies, eggs, oatmeal, depends what mood I’m in.
To fuel my awesomeness I eat real foods and surround myself with positive influences.
sounds like great to add to my smoothies

Breakfast is my favorite meal usually consisting of a variety of grains, fresh fruit and eggs. Excited to try Bob”s Red Mill protein power to add a new twist to my mornings.
This looks great! I love to start my day with a good sweat session, followed by a nutritious & awesome smoothie bowl! ๐
I love a good cup of coffee to get me started every day!!
I fuel up by eating runny eggs and raw almonds in the mornings!
I fuel my day with a fresh seasonal fruit and eggs for protein! And of course too much coffee with my favorite almond milk creamer. If I had more time I would make a fresh smoothie every morning for work but rarely get the chance. ๐ I love mornings!
