True to my uncomplicated nature, it needed to produce the best results for the least amount of effort. A high ROI, if you will.

My personal opinion is that a great cut of meat speaks for itself, which is why all I use on lamb chops is salt and pepper. Sometimes garlic powder.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Lamb Chops:
All we need is three basic ingredients for this easy air fryer recipe: lamb chops, salt, and pepper.
The cut is up to you! Lamb loin chops, lamb shoulder chops, and lamb rib chops all work here. Your local grocery store likely carries one or the other.
Most chops come with the excess bone trimmed off but you can also use lollipop lamb chops, which are cut off of a rack of lamb.
Lamb chops are cut from a rack of lamb, for a singular small steak with a bone inside or around the edge.
I have seen recipes for marinated lamb chops on the internet, and while the concept is terrific, I donโt see it as being necessary.
Nevertheless, if you enjoy the extra flavor a marinade imparts, you can fashion one up in only a few minutes and marinate the meat in a large ziplock bag for at least one hour before cooking.
A great marinade for lamb consists of avocado oil (or olive oil), soy sauce (or liquid aminos), rice vinegar (or red wine vinegar or lemon juice), and dried herbs such as fresh rosemary, oregano, thyme, etc.
You don’t need to wait for special occasions to make juicy lamb chops!
How to Cook Lamb Chops in the Air Fryer:
Remove the lamb chops from their packaging and place them on a plate. Use paper towels to pat off any excess moisture.
Sprinkle both sides of each lamb chop with sea salt and black pepper.
If you have the time, place the plate of lamb chops in the refrigerator for 1 to 24 hours to dry brine prior to cooking.
When youโre ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Transfer the seasoned lamb chops to the air fryer basket in a single layer (without any overlapping).
Air fry for 3 minutes, flip, then air fry for another 4 to 6 minutes, depending on your desired doneness.
The FDA considers lamb to be safe to eat when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the meat to get an accurate read.

How Long to Air Fry Lamb Chops:
At 400 degrees Fahrenheit, lamb chops take 7 to 9 minutes to cook in the air fryer. Be sure to flip the lamb chops halfway through cooking to ensure they cook evenly. The thickness of the lamb chops impacts the exact cooking time.
Lamb rib chops are generally slightly thinner than lamb loin chops, so they take a little less time. Air fry lamb rib chops for 3-4 minutes per side at 400 degrees F.
The best way to ensure the lamb turns out to your preferred doneness is to use a meat thermometer to do all the heavy lifting. You just sit back and check temperatures.

Hi Joanne! 3-4 minutes per side for lamb rib chops ๐ So, very similar, but in my (limited) experience, rib chops are often thinner than loin chops.
