Prepare the cinnamon roll dough and allow it to rise for one to two hours or until doubled in size.

Make the homemade caramel sauce.

Pour the caramel sauce in the bottom of a 9-inch cake pan and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Roll the cinnamon rolls into a log, cut it into equal size pieces and place dough on top of the caramel sauce. Bake!
