Iโm sure at some point in the nearly nine years Iโve been blogging that I have confessed my unruly obsession with stir fry. You guys, I eat it every day. Often for multiple meals. Always for breakfast.
All the veggies, all the protein, a hefty scoop of rice…stir fry all day errโday, letโs GOOOO!
What can I say? Vegetables + protein brings me life.
I posted a fine and funky Easy Stir Fry Recipe a couple of days ago, which is what I use in this recipe. Before you begin shopping for this beef stir fry, be sure to check out the sauce so that you have everything you need!
Also note there are many, many options for customizing the sauce according to what you keep on hand as well as your dietary restrictions.

How to Make 30-Minute Beef Stir Fry Recipe:
Prepare the Easy Stir Fry Sauce.
Heat the avocado oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer (if possible) and stir beef until browned, 3 to 4 minutes.
Move the beef to the side of the wok and add the vegetables. Cook and stir vegetables for 2 minutes before stirring the beef into the vegetables to incorporate.
Pour ยผ to โ cup of the stir fry sauce into the wok with the beef and vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened and created a sticky coat over everything, about 3 minutes.
Serve stir fry as is in bowls or with choice of steamed rice, quinoa, or vegetable noodles.
Recipe Adaptations:
- Replace the beef with 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, shrimp, or pork.
- Incorporate any of your favorite vegetables.
- Add garlic if youโre obsessed!
- Make it Low-FODMAP by omitting the onion.
- Make it nightshade-free by omitting the bell pepper

30-Minute Beef Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 batch Easy Stir Fry Sauce
- 1 lb beef sirloin cut into 2-inch strips
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil or avocado oil
- 2 large carrots chopped
- 1 large crown broccoli chopped into florets
- 1 yellow squash chopped
- 1 zucchini squash chopped
- 1/2 red bell pepper cored and cut into match sticks
- 1/2 red onion sliced
Instructions
